{Closed} One Day Only Giveaway: Make Saving Fun with ImpulseSave!

April 27, 2012 in Giveaway,Saving

Let’s be honest, saving money isn’t always the most exciting thing in the world.  It can be a lot more fun to spend than save, but an exclusive new site called ImpulseSave is making saving easy and fun.  I set up a goal on ImpulseSave to save toward one of the things on my 30 Before 30 List, a trip to the Walt Disney World Food and Wine Festival.  ImpulseSave keeps me motivated about saving for my vacation with automatic weekly saves, personalized emails about my progress and encouragement from other savers when I post about my saves.  All of this saving means that I’ll be drinking wine at Disney in no time.

ImpulseSave is currently invite-only, but 20 Single & Saving readers will have a chance to win an invitation to the site!  Act quickly, because this giveaway is only open for the next 24 hours.  Enter here before 9:00 am EST on Saturday, April 28th for your chance to win.

Some other good stuff to know about ImpulseSave:

  • It’s Safe: ImpulseSave employs the same high-grade encryption used by financial institutions and government agencies.  All your financial information is encrypted in transit, and in storage.
  • There’s (Almost) An App for That: ImpulseSave started development on an iPhone mobile app April 2nd (Android next) so when they say it’s coming soon, it’s coming soon!
  • It’s FREE: ImpulseSave is FREE and always will be. There are no minimum balances, transfer fees or any other banking mumbo-jumbo.
  • It Works: ImpulseSave users save, on average, an additional $4000 a year!

The mission of ImpulseSave is “to make saving as easy, fun and rewarding as spending; and to transform saving from a mundane ‘if-I-get-to-it’ into a creative, collaborative and impulsive part of your daily life!” and they do just that.  I’m excited about this new way to save and hope that you’ll check it out (and nope, they’re not paying me or giving me anything to say that…I genuinely enjoy using ImpulseSave and wanted to help spread the word about it).  Don’t forget to sign up before Saturday at 9 am with this special link especially for Single & Saving readers.

This is a great concept for saving! I could really use this for keeping me on track with saving for tuition payments. I love that they make saving fun & social!

I’m already an ImpulseSaver, but I wanted to plug the site for anyone who wasn’t sure about it. It’s super easy to save, you can set multiple goals, you can withdraw at any time, the other users are supportive–I love it. I’ve been a member for about 3 months and have saved $250. Give it a shot!
